Do dental implants feel natural?

It may take time for you to get used to the device at first but a few weeks post-surgery, there will be no difference whatsoever between your natural teeth and your dental implant. See, natural teeth have nerves and roots which allow you to experience sensations like pressure, cold, heat, pain, and more.

Dental implants, on the other hand, are artificial, hence they can’t be sensitive. This is a good thing since you won’t have to avoid your favourite foods like ice cream, tomatoes, sticky candy, ice, and hot coffee that give you a bad feeling. Other than that, they still function like normal teeth and successfully replace a missing tooth, allowing you to eat and speak normally. At the end of the day, that’s the main goal.
